Wollaton is one of Nottingham’s premier residential areas. The suburb attracts many families thanks to its friendly community and excellent schools.

Shops: The largest supermarket in Wollaton is Waitrose, located on the A609. There are plenty of smaller local convenience stores scattered around the area such as Co-op and Sainsbury's local. Wollaton also benefits from a high street bank, chemist, dry cleaners, florist, hair and beauty salons and a post office. Many of these are local, independent family run businesses.

Eating Out: There are plenty of excellent restaurants in the area of all cuisines. Some of Comfort’s favourites include Mr Man’s, The Cod’s Scallops, Suda and The Wollaton Pub and Kitchen. You can also pop in to one of the excellent cafes within Wollaton Park or pick up a takeaway from Bramcote Lane Highstreet.

Schools: Wollaton is home to several of Nottingham’s most highly regarded schools which attract many families to the area including Middleton Primary, Fernwood Juniors and Secondary and Bluecoat Academy.

There are plenty of smaller parks in the area including Martin’s Pond and Harrison’s Plantation Nature Reserve. The area also benefits from having several gyms and sports clubs including David Lloyd Gym.
